wanted: editorial intern

GUP magazine is looking for an editorial intern to strengthen our team, per January/February 2010.

Responsibilities
To provide editorial support for GUP Magazine online and print version:
- Writing of copy for the magazine
- Article proposals
- Monitoring online traffic
- Keeping GUPs 3rd party social community sites up-to-date
- (Partly) text editing the magazine and website
- Contributing ideas
- Conducting interviews
- Support for office-management
- Support in organising and promoting events
Summary: the successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of running a niche magazine and extensive online platform.

Interns will
- Develop contemporary editorial skills
- Obtain practical editorial experience as a working member of the editorial team

- Learn how to manage and work to deadlines
- Maintain relationships with external contacts

Period
A minimum of five months. Fulltime.
