GUP#17

Introduction

By last October we’d already been around for three years. Three years of working two jobs and through the night, weekend stress and most importantly beautiful photography. What started with driving our car across the Netherlands to supply 15 selected stores with freshly printed GUPs every two months has become an internationally oriented magazine available in over 17 countries worldwide. However we’re not done yet, in fact we’re just getting started. There’s plenty of unfinished business that we will be publishing in the years to come. Now that you have GUP#17 in your hands, for the first time in three years it hasn’t got a theme. Well, it does have a theme of sorts; ‘our’ theme. Stuff we have wanted to publish for a long time but couldn’t because we always needed to stick to the themes. For this one issue we got to go freestyle before the next issue which will once again have a theme. 2009 will bring with it a fresh start so you can expect a whole load of new stuff from us.
