Mikko Pylkkö, one of the winners of the Converse Mixtape competition: THE RIGHT TO MAKE NOISE, will be touring in the coming days to showcase the following works. Here is a short statement about how Pylkkö’s love for music photography came about.

Music has always been a big part of my life. When I started taking photographs more seriously, there was no doubt that music photography would be the thing for me. Concerts and stages are the places where you can capture the most intense moments. 
I mostly like to shoot rock and metal bands, but my music taste isn’t restricted to those genres. Usually any energic and lively performance is the most interesting to shoot.
