London’s University of the Arts will soon be featuring the work of of the recepients of the 2011 and 2012 Bar-Tur Photography Award at Paradise Row Gallery. Only in its second edition, the Bar-Tur award was established in memory of the late Ann Lesley Bar-Tur, British artist and alumna of Chelsea College of Art and Design. It seeks to enhance the profile of the university of the Arts’ rising talents, being open to all of its enrolled students as well as all alumni who have graduated in the last ten years. 

The 2011 edition of the award gave its entrants the four different options for themes: the environment, identities, lifestyle and communication, while in 2012 the London Olympics set the tone for the award, for which the set theme was ‘Olympian’. The awards winners will have their work displayed from August 21-25 at the Paradise Row Gallery.
