The 2012 edition of the the biennial imaging fair Photokina will be held in Cologne. Committed to serving as a platform for photography enthusiasts, industry members, professional users and trade consumers to place orders, exchange information and obtain contacts, Photokino is a source of innovation and new trends in photography. From image processing, to image storage and output, the fair is known to present groundbreaking advances and technological developments in photography.

A total of 1,251 exhibitors hailing from 45 different countries will exhibit at Photokina, which will also host a series of accompanying events, such as congresses, workshops and symposiums. The trade fair is to be attended by roughly 180,000 visitors from across the world, as well as by over 6,000 journalists. 

Photokina will take place at the exhibition centre in Cologne as well as in a number of different sites around the city.
