London’s East End, more specifically Lea Valley, one of the city’s poorest and most deprived areas, has been transformed as a result of the London 2012 Olympics. Since 2007, when London was selected as the host city for the Olympics, Lea valley undergone drastic improvements, including new housing developments, cycle tracks and restored tow paths. Its residents, however, remain the same.
The exhibition compiles six different photographic projects, with works from Sophia Evans, Stephen Gill, Zed Nelson, Jason Orton, Jan Stradtmann and Gesche Weurfel.
