Event details
From October 10th through October 13th award-winning photographer Jane Evelyn Atwood will hold a workshop on storytelling, to take place in Barcelona. Atwood became renowned for her reportage photography, having been presented with the first W. Eugene Smith Award, in 1980, for a story on blind children. She is known for her intensely passionate and personal approach to her projects, often accompanying her subjects for months and years on end.
Jane Evelyn Atwood will initiate the workshop by explaining her working methods, after which she will guide students through a project of their choice, to be produced throughout the workshop’s four days. On the last day students will be asked to present their project in the form of a portfolio, to be later published on the Eyes in Progress website.
