Event details
The Kopeikin Gallery in LA is presenting an exhibition featuring the work of ten contemporary Mexican photographers. The exhibition will present a collision between images of violence, faith, dreams, abandonment, and wealth; a world very much in tune to the state of modern-day México. The use of the photographic discipline in Mexico is becoming broader and richer than ever. While the social unrest has led a feeling of detriment to reach many of Mexico’s inhabitants, photography is at its best as it has the power to reflect on the situations, or those far from them.
The exhibition will feature the work of: Alejandra Laviada, Melba Arellano, David Corona, Claudia Hans, Eunice Adorno, José Luis Cuevas, Kenia Narez, Omar Gamez, Alinka Echeverria, and Roberto Tondopó.
