The human figure lies at the heart of the latest exhibiton at the Museum of Image and Sound (Museu da Imagem e do Som), in São Paulo, Brazil, which features the work of Carlos Aliperti. Committed to exploring the nuances of both images and sounds, MIS is now showcasing a series by photographer Carlos Aliperti, whose images of the interior of São Paulo state accentuate its simple, modest and slow-paced lifestyle, in stark contrast to that of São Paulo the metropolis.
The display is part of a greater permanent exhibition entitled New Photography, intended as a platform for the work of new and emerging photographic talents.
