Fourteen inspirational women photographers from the Middle East take centre stage in this extensive group show, which is taking place alongside Art Dubai and Art Week. Women on the Verge coincides with “Somewhat, somehow, in the middle of things”, an exhibition in Den Haag that Empty Quarter Gallery’s Hester Keijser helped curate.

The participating photographers include: Larissa Sansour (Palestine), Laura El Tantawy (Egypt), Boushra Almutawakel (Yemen), Newsha Tavakolian (Iran), Leila Alaoui (Morocco), Rania Matar (Lebanon), Waheeda Malullah (Bahrein), Tanya Habjouqa (Jordania), Laura Boushnak (Palestine), Hind Mezaina (UAE),  Tanya Traboulsi (Lebanon), Dalia Khamissy (Lebanon), Myriam Abdelaziz (Egypt), Eman Mohammed (Palestinian National Authority).
