BIP 2012: Images of Love

This year’s BIP 2012 – the Liege International Biennale of Photography and the Visual Arts – will explore the multi-faceted theme of “Images of love, love of the image” which seven different exhibitions.
The main exhibition of BIP 2012 will be at the Mamac – the city’s Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art. Nan Goldin will hold an important place at Mamac, with a monumental projection of her major work: The Ballad of Sexual Dependency. Other photographers who’s work will be exhibited at the Mamac are: Erwin Olaf, Sylvie Blocher, Jason Lazarus, J.H. Engström, Eric Rondepierre, Elina Brotherus, Thomas Chable alongside many others.
