Anastasia Photo is exhibiting Metropolis, the project for which photographer Martin Roemers received a World Press Photo Award last year. Roemer’s photographs have appeared in numerous major publications, including The New York Times, The New Yorker and National Geographic. The present world population of seven billion people, of which half residing in cities, was the inspiration for Metropolis. The long-term project captures the ongoing forceful transition and grow of megacities. This is Martien Roemer’s first solo exhibition in North America.
