For the first time ever in the Netherlands, work of British celebrity photographer Terry O’Neill will be exhibited at the Eduard Planting gallery in Amsterdam. The accomplished photographer has captured an array of iconic movie & theatre stars during his 50-year career span, including The Rolling Stones, David Bowie, Audrey Hepburn, Elizabeth Taylor and Amy Winehouse. Famous for photographing stars like Audrey Hepburn and Brigitte Bardot at the height of their fame, one of his photographs – a portrait of his former wife and legendary actress Faye Dunaway – has even been nominated for most iconic Hollywood photograph of all time. O’Neill’s photographic work has been featured on the covers of major magazines including TIME, Vanity Fair, Vogue, Paris Match and Newsweek, as well as being used for numerous movie posters and album covers. His portfolio also includes portraits taken of presidents, prime ministers and the British Royal Family.
