Anouk Kruithof’s 2010 project, “the Daily Exhaustion”, is a series of self-portraits taken after vigorous workouts, as a metaphor for our civilization’s obsession with workaholism. The collection of 23 colourful and sweaty photos, presented in the shape of a magazine, won the photographic prize of the 26th Fashion and Photography Festival of Hyères in 2011. The artist is now showing her work in Paris at Le Petit Endroit, until the end of February.
