Dear Clark depicts the story of a fraudster, or crook, whose life consists of adopting and abandoning different identities. Unable to arrange a meeting with the man in question, Sara-Lena Maierhofer decides to follow him from a distance. Slowly she starts to understand her subject; his appearance, his habits and peculiarities.
