Event details

The renowned photographer, Henri Cartier-Bresson, also known for his protraits of Picasso, used an ordinary Leica viewfinder camera whilst travelling the globe, enabling him to be selective with details and moments he wanted to capture within seconds. The black-and-white photographs on exhibit tell the tale of Cartier-Bresson’s infatuation with the fundamentals of Far Eastern philosophy. He described his way of working, whilst traveling, as: to take a photograph is to align the head, the eye and the heart.
