American photographer Jesse Burke (1972) focuses on encompassing landscape, portraiture and still-life photography with his new solo exhibition Wild and Precious at the RISD Museum in Rhode Island. Over five years he traveled across the United States and around his native New England with his daughter Clover, capturing his daughter’s encounters with diverse landscapes and wildlife. His images provide a tender meditation on nature, childhood and parental love.

The exhibition celebrates the release of Burke’s monograph Wild & Precious (Daylight Books) and is on view from January 22 to September 25, 2016 at the RISD Museum, at the Rhode Island School of Design.
