Unseen is an annual international photography fair and festival taking place in Amsterdam that highlights the most recent developments in the world of contemporary photography. The festival will start in mid-September and will be held in different venues throughout Amsterdam, having its cornerstone in the Spaarndammerbuurt district. During the last three days of the festival, the Unseen Photo Fair will take place in the Westergasfabriek, located in Westerpark.
For its fifth edition, the Unseen Photo Fair will, in addition to a full onsite programme, invite more than 50 galleries to showcase the latest work of more than 150 artists. The on-site programme includes a book market, debates, presentations and conversations about current themes that feature leading speakers from the international photography scene. The fair and festival bring together prominent figures in the industry with artists, curators, collectors and photography enthusiasts, and create an environment where an exchange of dialogue, artistic expression and ideas are not only facilitated, but encouraged
