Opening its doors this coming Thursday, Paris Photo, one of the most prestigious international photography art fairs, will be celebrating its 20th edition, bringing together 173 galleries and publishers from around the globe, including 40 new exhibitors. GUP will be there as well, with its latest edition: GUP #51 – Rituals and with a special catalogue style edition on Haute Photographie, the new Dutch Art Fair.

Paris Photo’s aim has always been to provide new perspectives and enhance the visitors’ understanding of the photographic medium, proposing a vast programme of exhibitions, awards, artist signing sessions, conferences and round table discussions with curators, critics, artists and historians. This year the PRISMES sector, which debuted in 2015, will showcase a selection of exceptional large format series and installation works, alongside new works by Douglas Gordon, Noémie Goudal, Zofia Kulik, Edward Burtynsky, Penelope Umbrico, Gonzalo Lebrija, Dinh Q. Le and William Klein. Paris Photo serves as an annual meeting point for collectors, professionals and photography enthusiasts alike.

GUP will be there once again this year with a press booth in the Grand Palias – we hope to see you there!
