FotoFestival Naarden’s 2017 edition explores recent developments in international photography. Themed ‘Right Here, Right Now’, the festival aims to focus on stories about current social, societal and political developments that shape our perceptions. Featuring both documentary and art photography, FotoFestival Naarden aims to let visitors reflect on the world they live in today. Young talented photographers feature in Fence, an outdoors exhibit, and for the first time the festival will present the winner of the Dutch Photobook Prize (Nederlandse Fotoboekenprijs).

In addition to the exhibitions, you will also find portfolio reviews, lectures, competitions, tours, meet and greets, signing sessions and educational projects. During the festival, the city of Naarden-Vesting will also host the OFF festival, an event that lets you encounter photography in the living rooms of local inhabitants, promoting a more personal experience of photography. Featured artists include Ana Hell, Juha Arvid Helminen, Arthur Mebius, Benoit Paillé, Julia Steinigeweg, Newsha Tavakolian and other international top photographers.

Right Here, Right Now will display at various locations in Naarden, The Netherlands from May 20 - June 18, 2017.
