Bratislava’s Central European House of Photography will soon be celebrating Month of Photography, for which an International Portfolio Review will be held as part of the month’s programme. 20 professional curators, galerists and editors, including Deputy Editor of 1000 Words Magazine Michael Greieve, Artistic Director of QUAD and FORMAT International Photography Festival Louise Clements and GUP’s own Chief Editor Erik Vroons, will be available to provide photographers with noteworthy advice and feedback as well as potential career opportunities and contacts. As has been the case in the portfolio review’s past editions, the jury will select one photographer as winner of the review, with the opportunity of having their work displayed throughout the Month of Photography 2013.
The Central European House of Photography’s 2012 International Portfolio Review will be held on the 2nd and 3rd of November, with the cost of €55 for whoever wishes to have their work reviewed. The maximum number of participants is 80. Those who send in portfolios in advance will have the chance of having their work displayed on the website beforehand.
