Photoville

This summer sees the introduction of a new Brooklyn-based photography destination: Photoville. From June 22 until July 1st, Photoville will occupy an area of more than 60,000 sq. feet in the heart of the Brooklyn Bridge park. An inititiative of United Photo Industries, Photoville will feature a diverse mix of exhibitions, lectures, workshops, nighttime projections, a relaxing ‘beer garden’ and many other interesting happenings.

Aim of the organisers of this exciting new event is to promote and showcase the work of emerging photographers through curated exhibitions which have taken place in the past around the world. The organisation particularly concentrated on featuring exhibitions that explore new thematic possibilities and directions within the medium.
