Follow the Red Line!

January 09, 2012 Author: Tags: news

Eager Magazine has started up a new initiative; Red Line, which aims to create the longest conceptual photo series ever made. This means that photographers, amateur or professional, from across the globe can interact with each other. Sharing the same interest, but having a personal take on it is very rare, but with photography anything is possible. So, it should be something to celebrate; which is what Red Line does. Where did the name come from? The project has one catch; the image has to include a red line that enters the picture on the left and leaves on the right. Ok, maybe it has two catches, the photograph also has to be a self-portrait. Oh how we love self-portraits, but you’re not the only one doing it so maybe it’ll make it a little less awkward?

So, how does it work?
Create a self-portrait image.
Make sure you include the red line in the picture, entering left and leaving the image on the right (be creative with the red line)
Resize your image to 1200 × 1800 px (but don’t delete the high res version in case it needs to be used for an exhibition)
Submit!
